Here’s how CEF’s corporate supporters are making a difference this year:

• LEGOLAND® California made the biggest gift CEF has ever received in May 2010 as the premier sponsor of Celebrate Carlsbad Day. The event raised enough funds to support the elementary school music program across nine schools for the entire first semester of the upcoming school year.
• The Life Technologies Foundation generously granted funding—for the second year—to support robotics programs in all CUSD schools.
• The Beckman Coulter Foundation made its second annual commitment to fund Science Olympiad at all three CUSD middle schools.
• ViaSat and Time Warner Cable each made significant commitments in support of our middle school science labs, stocking the labs with consumables for experiments and enabling critical equipment repairs.
• Wells Fargo Bank granted funding to support our hands-on science initiatives.
