Carlsbad, Calif. – The Carlsbad Educational Foundation (CEF) is celebrating 30 years of educational excellence and raising support for the Carlsbad public schools by holding a Party at the Park Hyatt!concert event at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort on Saturday, August 24, 2013. Major sponsors of the event include Park Hyatt Aviara and Lexus Carlsbad.

“ParkHyatt Aviara Resort is proud to partner with the Carlsbad Educational Foundation for their 30 year celebration event. The celebration will take place at the Park Hyatt Aviara outdoor concert venue on Kingfisher Drive, adjacent to the tennis center. Guests will enjoy tapas and drinks generously provided by Fresco Trattoria, Pizza Port, Chapin Family Vineyards, Port Brewing Company, and The Lost Abbey in addition to exciting dessert options from Sub Zero Ice Cream and Yogurt.
“With the public schools in our community continuing to experience severe budget challenges and Carlsbad Unified receiving the lowest funding per student for all school districts in San Diego County, the Carlsbad Educational Foundation has stepped up to raise private support for programs that would not otherwise happen. We are grateful for the Park Hyatt Aviara’s commitment to education, their partnership with the Foundation and the donation of their exceptional outdoor space” said chief executive officer, Valin Brown.

Through community support, the Carlsbad Educational Foundation has invested more than $6M in targeted grants for science, music, and innovation over the past 30 years. Guests are encouraged to invite their friends to join them at the Park Hyatt on August 24th for an end of summer party and help CEF celebrate 30 years of support to the 11,000 students in local Carlsbad schools! Ticket packages are available and include the concert, a tapas and drink ticket and bonus raffle tickets. Tickets can be purchased online athttp://www.carlsbaded.org/.
