Club Kinder, is a program that is designed to give our TK/Kindergarten students a strong start in school and in life helping them develop valuable skills and give them every opportunity to succeed at school. We offer planned activities and fun enrichment lessons that match your student’s curriculum in the Carlsbad Unified School District including English, Language, Arts, Math and opportunities to develop socialization skills and adapt to a school environment!

Club Kinder provides a 14:1 student to staff ratio. Our staff collaborates with parents on your student’s progress. Staff members participate in ongoing training in Curriculum, Student Behavior and First Aid/CPR.

Club Kinder Hours – TK/Kindergarten Only
Kindergarten-specific activities are supported around your student’s Kindergarten schedule.
Club Kinder can begin and end the same hours as our Kids Care program.
Kids Care Hours of Operation
Monday – Friday (daily when CUSD is regularly in session)
7 a.m. – 6:25 p.m.
Club Kinder and TK students are escorted to and from their classroom supervised by Kids Care staff daily.
Licensing and Staff
Kids’ Care is licensed by the County of San Diego Community Care Licensing according to State of California Title 22. Kids’ Care teachers are chosen for their experience working with children and must have college course units in the field of Education and/or Recreation. All staff members are offered ongoing training in Communication, Curriculum, Discipline and First Aid/CPR certification.
100% of Club Kinder proceeds benefit the Carlsbad Unified School District for programs in music, science, and educational innovation.
