SOAR is known throughout Carlsbad for its experienced staff, varied enrichment offerings, and convenient onsite locations.
This middle school program is part of the high-quality, licensed after-school options that CEF has provided for 21 years to students in the Carlsbad Unified School District.

Hours of Operation
Days: Monday-Friday (daily when CUSD is regularly in session)
Time: Immediately after school until 6 p.m.*
Note: We follow the CUSD school calendar and are closed during holidays and school breaks. Please see the SOAR calendar for details.
Location: Every Carlsbad middle school campus!
Fees
$255 per month | $12 hourly rate
Licensing and Staff
SOAR is licensed by the County of San Diego Community Care Licensing according to State of California Title 22. SOAR staff members are chosen for their experience working with middle school students, and each must have college course units in Education and/or Recreation. In addition, we offer staff ongoing training in communication, curriculum, discipline, and First Aid/CPR certification.
